Biography

Born in May 19, 1976 in Tehran, I was encouraged by my art-loving father at the age of seven to study painting (pen and ink drawing, watercolor, gouache, and oil painting), caricature and calligraphy.
A creative architecture, my uncle exposed me to the worlds of painters like Pablo Picasso (his geometrical inventions) Vincent van Gogh (his brush and color techniques) and Salvador Dalí.
After discovering the works of Anselm Kiefer and Gerhard Richter, I first became fascinated by abstract art and the immense freedom it gives to the artist, which is in perfect harmony with my goals in this practice: keeping alive the hope of life, advancing towards evolution, patience, and expressing these ideas to my audience.
Nature (the underwater world in particular), music and books are most inspiring to me and for my artworks.
